Connecting generations. Preserving our shared journey. Strengthening the future.
The D.S. Senanayake College Tamil Medium Past Students’ Society brings together past students of the Tamil Medium section, creating a platform for generations of alumni to reconnect, contribute and remain connected with the school and its wider community.
Our Society unites alumni from different generations, backgrounds and professional fields while preserving the bonds created during their school years — from the earliest batches to the newest generations of past students.
Every generation leaves behind a story.
For Tamil Medium students of D.S. Senanayake College, that story is built from classrooms, friendships, teachers, school activities, achievements and countless experiences that continue long after leaving school.
The Society was established to bring those generations back together.
What began with reconnecting past students has grown into a broader effort to build an active and organised Tamil Medium alumni community, creating opportunities for communication, collaboration, fellowship and service.
The Society looks beyond simply remembering the past. It aims to transform those shared connections into meaningful contributions towards the school community and future generations.

Through teacher-focused initiatives, reunions and community activities, we hope to maintain the bond between past students and the teachers who were an important part of their school journey.
The Society is not only about reconnecting with the past.
It is about creating a stronger community for the future.
We want to build an organised and active alumni network where past students can share knowledge, support one another, contribute to the school and create opportunities for future generations.
As the College continues its journey towards new milestones, the Tamil Medium past-student community will continue to play its part in that journey.
Our school gave us a beginning.
Our community keeps the connection alive.
Together, we can shape what comes next.
Whether you left D.S. Senanayake College recently or decades ago, your connection with the school continues. Join the community, reconnect with your batch and stay informed about upcoming Society initiatives and events.
The Tamil Medium Past Students’ Society represents the Tamil Medium past-student community of D.S. Senanayake College and functions within the broader alumni community of the College.
Our identity is rooted in the same school, its values, its traditions and the experiences shared by generations of students.
Through the Society, Tamil Medium past students are encouraged to remain actively connected with one another while supporting the wider initiatives and objectives of the D.S. Senanayake College Old Boys’ Association.
The Society serves as a bridge between generations, helping past students reconnect with their school, their peers and the community that shaped them.

From the earliest Tamil Medium batches to the newest generations of past students, our community represents decades of shared experiences.
Each batch has its own memories, friendships and stories. Together, these generations form a larger community connected by one school and one shared heritage.
The Society is committed to bringing these generations closer together and creating a platform where every past student has an opportunity to reconnect and contribute — including through initiatives such as Road to 60.
