The D.S. Senanayake College Tamil Medium Past Students Society (TMPSS) donated three smart boards valued at LKR 1 million to D.S. Senanayake College on 15 October 2026, supporting digital learning and creating better educational opportunities for students across Grades 6 to 11.
Investing LKR 1 Million in Digital Education
The D.S. Senanayake College Tamil Medium Past Students Society (TMPSS) proudly completed a smart board donation project valued at LKR 1,000,000, handing over three smart boards to D.S. Senanayake College on 15th October 2026.
This initiative represents a significant step towards strengthening the school's educational facilities and promoting technology-enabled learning. By introducing interactive digital tools into classrooms, the project aims to support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide students with improved opportunities to learn, explore, and develop their knowledge.
Project Impact
The three smart boards have been allocated to classrooms serving Grades 6 and 7, Grades 8 and 9, and Grades 10 and 11. These facilities are expected to enhance classroom engagement through digital presentations, multimedia resources, and interactive teaching methods.

The successful completion of this project reflects the collective dedication of TMPSS and everyone who contributed, supported, and encouraged the initiative. The handover ceremony was attended by representatives of the school administration, the Old Boys' Association, TMPSS leadership, Senior Advisors, Board Members, teachers, and past students.
